In the fall of 2022, the University of Memphis Football program identified a need to foster stronger connections with its former players and aid them in their post-football endeavors. Seeking to offer exclusive behind-the-scenes content and career networking opportunities, Memphis Football turned to Communities to develop a custom app: Tigers for Life. With Tigers for Life, Memphis established a vibrant and interactive alumni network, offering valuable advice and career opportunities to those with a common background as a current Memphis Football player or alumni.

The Impact
The Tigers for Life app has enabled current and former Memphis Football athletes to interact, share advice, and engage with behind-the-scenes content that is exclusive to the platform. With over 170 active users, Memphis Football alumni have had over 100 peer-to-peer conversations. With more than 260 videos live in the app and 16805 video views to date, theres no shortage of opportunities for connection.
As a student-athlete, once you finish playing, youll never have that same experience again. With the Tigers for Life app, our football alumni can make new memories and connections that keep them involved with the program.
