Teamworks provides efficient communication and scheduling for league staff and eight teams.
Durham, NC, (February 25, 2020) – The XFL today announced that the league is working with Teamworks, the leading athlete engagement platform for professional and collegiate organizations, to assist in streamlining communication and scheduling for league staff and eight teams.
The Teamworks app is loaded on to the XFL-issued iPads given to every player and coaching staff, that is updated in real-time through a central calendar detailing practice schedule, uniform details, in-app text messaging and fully-coordinated game travel details. The Teamworks app is also available on the smartphones of players and staff so they can receive and respond to messages and alerts from anywhere.
“As a new league, it was imperative to invest in quality technology to ensure streamlined communication at both the team and league levels,” said David Michael, Chief Technical Officer for the XFL. “Teamworks has been an excellent tool that has played a crucial role in ensuring timely communication throughout the league and fostering a strong sense of community within each team.”
“It’s exciting to support with the XFL in its first season,” said Zach Maurides, CEO and Founder of Teamworks. “We relish the opportunity to support new sports ventures and admire the XFL’s initiative to invest in innovative technology that allows them to focus on winning rather than logistics from the outset.”
