DURHAM, NC – [Tuesday, August 6, 2019] – Teamworks, the leading athlete engagement platform for professional and collegiate organizations, is pleased to announce an extended and expanded partnership with USA Baseball. With the renewal, USA Baseball will further its commitment to a winning culture by promoting seamless communication and efficient operations.
“Our partnership with Teamworks streamlines administrative and operational tasks for our national team programs, saving time for athletes, coaches and staff,” said Paul Seiler, USA Baseball Executive Director and CEO. “Beyond significantly strengthening communication throughout our programs, Teamworks also keeps our athletes engaged and informed so that they can focus solely on their on-field responsibilities.”
As the first national governing body to partner with Teamworks in 2016, USA Baseball has leveraged the platform for its national team programs and events to simplify paperwork and file management processes. The increased efficiency and ease of using the software has led USA Baseball to expand its partnership with Teamworks to include the newly established Prospect Development Pipeline League, a collaborative effort between MLB and USA Baseball to establish an official identification and player development pathway for amateur baseball players in the United States.
“By communicating through Teamworks, Prospect Development Pipeline League staff are able to easily share resources, updates and plans with athletes, and be confident they have the information they need,” said Seiler. “With Teamworks enabling efficient operations, the staff and coaches can be dedicated to developing the athletes.”
USA Baseball joins more than 2,500 teams around the world that engage their athletes with Teamworks. USA Baseball is one of more than ten national governing bodies, including U.S. Soccer, USA Swimming and USA Track & Field, that utilize Teamworks to strengthen athlete engagement and increase operational efficiency.
