Teamworks formed new partnerships with more than 300 teams through the first half of the year, growing its portfolio of client partners to more than 1,700 NCAA Division I teams. Teamworks is also in use at hundreds of professional sports teams, national governing bodies and conferences.

Designed specifically to bridge the gap between their lives in college athletics and a professional career, this postgraduate program blends personal and professional development with hands-on job experience at Teamworks. “Why Athletes Matter” Social Campaign
Further reinforcing the critical role of players within society at large, Teamworks launched a powerful new social campaign. CEO and Founder Zach Maurides covered the immense contributions of athletes to the world around us and how it relates to Teamworks mission to engage and empower athletes.
Basketball Leadership Committee

Teamworks Recognized as a “Best Place to Work”
The Triangle Business Journal has formally recognized Teamworks phenomenal culture and positive work environment via the publication’s annual “Best Places to Work” awards program. Teamworks has expanded investments in its people, culture and customers as the company more than doubled in both revenue and employee count for the fourth year in a row. In the last year, Teamworks expanded the employee benefits program, launched multiple employee connectivity and cultural programs and established the “Optimum Program”, a wellness initiative with the goal of enhancing an employee’s body, mind, spiritual and financial wellness. Expanding the Leadership Team
Teamworks has added two key hires to its leadership team, welcoming Hilary Shaev as the VP, People & Culture and Marc Moschetto as the Chief Marketing Officer.
Hilary joins Teamworks from the NBA, where she was most recently VP, People Experience & Innovation, responsible for employee engagement and workplace culture initiatives. Previously, Hilary served as the Vice President of Marketing at the WNBA. Prior to working in sports, the Duke University graduate worked in the music industry, holding Executive Vice President of Promotion roles at both Virgin Records and Sony Music.
Marc Moschetto brings more than 20 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing to Teamworks. The Northeastern University graduate served previously as CMO at PeopleFluent and Dude Solutions, as well as VP of Global Marketing at WorkForce Software. Experienced with both tech startups and established organizations (such as Schneider Electric and GE), Moschetto is responsible for helping the company to both expand market presence and provide additional scale and support to the go-to-market teams.
Investors Expand Commitment to Teamworks
Teamworks board member Reggie Love, former Duke University basketball and football star and personal aide to President Barack Obama, led a $250,000 investment in Teamworks as part of its $15.3 million Series B round of financing.
