DURHAM, NC – [Tuesday, September 10, 2019] – Teamworks, the leading athlete engagement platform for collegiate and professional organizations, is pleased to announce an expansion of the partnership with the Clemson University Athletic Department. The Tigers will be better connected and engaged by streamlining communication and planning processes with Teamworks.
“At Clemson, it is important to reach the highest levels of success, especially in the care of our student-athletes,” said Dan Radakovich, Clemson Director of Athletics. “Our student-athletes have high standards for themselves, and Teamworks allows us to help them be the best they can.
“Clemson is constantly looking for ways to improve on and off the field,” continued Radakovich. “Teamworks provides a thorough, unified platform for us to define, execute and measure processes and communications. For department success, we are committed to finding tools that help connect people, and Teamworks does that better than anyone. Communication can happen in other ways, but it can be disjointed. The consistency and reliability of Teamworks ensures we’re all on the same page.”
Ten of Clemson’s programs, including the National Champion football team, were already using Teamworks to power logistics and engagement. With the expansion of the partnership to the entire department, the Tigers will have a consistent platform for communication and operations for all student-athletes, coaches and staff.
“We have a lean administrative staff, so efficiency is extremely important to operations and management,” said Radakovich. “Any tool we can put in the hands of our coaches and student-athletes to manage one of our most important resources – time – is something that we value. The scalability and consistency of Teamworks makes it so that our student-athletes are able to manage the demands on their time efficiently and accurately.”
The Tigers join more than 2,000 NCAA Division I teams in partnership with Teamworks, including every Autonomous Conference institution. Clemson is the 85th Division I department to select Teamworks to power its teams.
“We’re thrilled to expand our partnership with Clemson to the entire department,” said Zach Maurides, CEO and Founder of Teamworks. “Clemson’s investment in all facets of student-athlete experience and success is apparent across every team. We’re proud to support the Tigers as they pursue excellence.”
