BOWLING GREEN, Ky. [Monday, March 21, 2022] — WKU Athletics announced Monday a newly enhanced partnership with Teamworks, the leading operating system for internal athletic communications.
WKU will expand its partnership with Teamworks to include all of its 16 sports as part of a department-wide initiative to strengthen the communication and sharing of information with student-athletes, coaches and staff.
“Providing a first-class experience for our student-athletes and staff is a primary goal in everything we do, and this partnership with Teamworks will certainly enhance that,” WKU Director of Athletics Todd Stewart said. “Effective communication is vital for any organization to succeed, and integrating this platform with our entire athletic department will take our communication and collaboration to the next level. Most importantly, it will help improve efficiency and productivity in all areas of the student-athlete experience, including training, academics, travel, health and wellness, and campus life.”
With more than 5,000 clients spanning all levels of college athletics and all major professional sports leagues, Teamworks is the industry standard in centralized communication for athletic organizations. Areas affected by the streamlined communication include training and academic scheduling, health and wellness, compliance, team operations, travel and electronic paperwork.
All of that information can be shared and accessed directly through the Teamworks mobile app, putting vital communication directly into the hands of student-athletes and staff.
That access pairs directly with WKU’s ongoing partnership with the Teamworks product, INFLCR, which is the leader in the brand-building industry and a pioneer in the Name, Image and Likeness landscape..
Last year, WKU launched the “CLIMB” program, a comprehensive initiative designed to help student-athletes grow and capitalize on their brands via NIL opportunities as part of an elevated partnership with INFLCR Plus.
“We’re thrilled to expand our partnership with the Hilltoppers to support communication and collaboration across all of their sport programs,” said Teamworks CEO and Founder, Zach Maurides. “WKU’s existing investment in INFLCR and expansion of Teamworks across their athletic department continues to enhance the student-athlete experience and their successes at Western Kentucky.”
