From UAlbany Athletics:
The University at Albany department of athletics has announced the launch of its new UNLEASHED program, allowing Great Dane student-athletes to pursue opportunities associated with the newly adopted legislation around Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL).
UNLEASHED is a multi-phase initiative that will roll out completely over the coming weeks and months. The initiative’s first phase is the announcement of a new partnership between UAlbany Athletics and INFLCR.
“We’re excited to take this first step into a new era of collegiate athletics,” said UAlbany Director of Athletics Mark Benson. “INFLCR’s robust platform will afford our student-athletes the opportunities and tools to enhance their brands and navigate the changing landscape brought about by the NIL legislation.”
INFLCR’s brand-building platform will be made available to UAlbany student-athletes with the start of the fall 2021 semester.
INFLCR provides college athletic departments with the content delivery and compliance platform to assist NCAA athletics programs in the management and monitoring of student-athlete Name, Image, and Likeness activities. INFLCR’s Verified suite of products ensures student-athletes are provided the tools, content, financial literacy, and more to participate in opportunities from NIL legislation. Powered by flagship new products like the Compliance Exchange administrator dashboard and Storyteller Playbook video library, INFLCR Verified enhances the student-athlete experience by offering a comprehensive solution for responsible brand-building on social media, as well as a fully compliant path to external commercial activity from NIL.
