Texas State Partners With INFLCR To Help All Athletes In NIL Era

From Texas State Athletics:

To help navigate the name, image, and likeness (NIL) era of college athletics, Texas State Athletics has partnered with INFLCR, the leading NIL solution, to educate and empower all Bobcat student-athletes with tools and resources to build and monetize their personal brands.

Through the use of INFLCR Verified, each Texas State student-athlete will have access to content, such as photos, graphics and video, through a mobile app to build their personal brand on their own social media accounts. They will also have access to a suite of educational materials through the Storyteller Playbook, and the ability to disclose NIL activities to the Texas State compliance office with Compliance Exchange.

“We want all Texas State student-athletes to have the tools necessary for the NIL era, and we are excited with our partnership with INFLCR that we can make a direct impact with each one of them,” said Texas State Director of Athletics Don Coryell. “As a former student-athlete, I understand the challenges and limitations our student-athletes have regarding time constraints and their ability to earn additional income. These innovative tools will benefit the Bobcats as well as help our staff guide them to maximize the opportunities ahead.”

Several Bobcat athletes have already taken advantage of NIL activities, and the Texas State Athletics Compliance Office has facilitated education, training and reporting activities to ensure athletes are protecting their personal brand within school policy and the Texas state law.

“Giving every Texas State athlete the tools they need to successfully grow their personal brands has never been more important than it is right now in this new NIL era,” said Jim Cavale, INFLCR President. “That’s why Texas State is putting our leading technology in the hands of their student-athletes to ensure they’re empowered with customized content, NIL education in Storyteller Playbook, a database of opportunities to monetize their NIL, and real-time reporting on earnings. Through automated reporting, Verified technology provides Texas State’s compliance staff a simplified communication and approval process around each transaction to be certain each Bobcat is monetizing safely.”

INFLCR Verified: How It Works

INFLCR provides college athletic departments with the content delivery and compliance platform to assist NCAA athletics programs in the management and monitoring of student-athlete Name, Image, and Likeness activities. INFLCR’s Verified suite of products ensures student-athletes are provided the tools, content, financial literacy, and more to participate in opportunities from NIL legislation.

Powered by flagship new products like the Compliance Exchange administrator dashboard and Storyteller Playbook video library, INFLCR Verified enhances the student-athlete experience by offering a comprehensive solution for responsible brand-building on social media, as well as a fully compliant path to external commercial activity from NIL.
Athletic programs are adopting this approach to educate and prepare staff and student-athletes for new opportunities and complexities from current NIL legislation, aiming to ultimately provide best-case scenarios for student-athletes who are looking to participate in monetization activities from their NIL.
