Pittsburgh Pirates Elevate Team Communication Standards Through Teamworks
The Pirates are one of eleven MLB teams that leverage Teamworks to simplify communication and collaboration.
DURHAM, NC – Teamworks, the leading athlete engagement platform for professional and collegiate organizations, is pleased to announce its partnership with the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Operating in one of the world’s most elite professional leagues, leadership at the Pirates identified that traditional methods of communication have become outdated and that placing an emphasis on a player engagement platform like Teamworks is required to stay competitive. The Pirates recognize Teamworks as the proven solution in professional sports to regulate club communication and instill accountability through centralized information sharing.
“Effective communication is a cornerstone for every professional organization to operate as seamlessly as possible, and we knew we could get better in that area,” said Bryan Stroh, Senior Vice President of Baseball Development for the Pirates. “While with other clubs, members of our staff experienced first-hand how Teamworks creates a unified method for communicating and sharing information. Now that we’ve implemented Teamworks, we can’t imagine operating, coordinating travel or engaging with our players without it.”
The Pittsburgh Pirates are among over 100 professional teams around the world that partner with Teamworks, a list that includes a third of teams competing in MLB.“It’s exciting to welcome the Pittsburgh Pirates to the Teamworks family and grow our presence within the MLB,” said Zach Maurides, CEO and Founder of Teamworks.
“In the last year, investing in technology platforms like Teamworks has become critical for sports organizations to stay nimble and operate at their highest caliber. We look forward to providing our platform to Pirates players, coaches and staff to keep everyone in sync this season.”
