Philadelphia [11.13.23] - In the ever-evolving landscape of collegiate athletics, Penn Athletics is taking its commitment to student-athlete success to new heights, becoming the first Ivy League school to partner with Teamworks Elite. This partnership will deliver a strategic shift in how Penn communicates, operates, and elevates the overall student-athlete experience.
"We are thrilled to begin this expanded relationship with Teamworks Elite. This partnership provides an unprecedented synergy between sports performance, nutrition, compliance, student-athlete success, the Penn Athletics Wharton Leadership Academy, NIL solutions, and beyond.”
– Alanna Shanahan, T. Gibbs Kane, Jr. W’69 Director of Athletics and Recreation.
Unifying the Athletic Toolkit:
Before adopting Teamworks, Penn employed various software products across multidisciplinary departments, but these systems did not fulfill departmental needs. With several of Penn Athletics’ programs already experiencing meaningful results from Teamworks products, elevating to the Elite level was a natural choice. With this Elite partnership, Penn will combine multiple Teamworks products, forming a comprehensive toolkit that allows for enhanced efficiencies for both student-athletes and administrators.
“With nearly 1,000 student-athletes in our footprint, having one location where they can access all of their tools will be phenomenal. Student-athletes only have so many hours in the day. Teamworks Hub and ARMS will improve efficiency across the entire department, which will be at the fingertips of our teams, and INFLCR will propel our NIL program forward. The entire Elite package will only enhance our student-athlete experience at Penn.”
– Rachel Kuperinsky, Associate Athletic Director, Compliance/SWA.
What’s Most Exciting about this Partnership?
“We are especially excited about INFLCR Local Exchange and how it fits into our broader initiatives of energizing and amplifying the student-athlete experience within Penn Athletics and providing NIL exposure and opportunities,” Shanahan added. By adding Local Exchange, student-athletes at Penn will have a customized portal for communicating with approved businesses, collectives, and individuals to fulfill NIL transactions.
A Seamless Student-Athlete Experience
"Teamworks makes our lives easier by condensing all the resources Penn provides us on and off the field into one place. In doing so, athletes can focus on academics, nutrition, and athletics without the need to juggle multiple platforms for crucial information. Additionally, as we navigate the exciting realm of NIL opportunities, Teamworks offers me and my fellow Penn athletes a dynamic platform that empowers us to leverage our Name, Image, and Likeness with both efficiency and effectiveness. Not only will Teamworks allow me to communicate with my team, but it will also now enhance my entire academic and athletic experience, and we cannot wait to see the positive impact it will have!"
– Morgan Smith ‘24, Penn Women’s Lacrosse.
“The Pottruck Center for Student-Athlete Success is thrilled to partner with Teamworks and its suite of products. The addition of this full software suite represents a significant advancement for our student-athlete experience and will provide a seamless collaborative environment. The integrations and capabilities of ARMS, Hub, and INFLNCR not only offer a centralized operating system but also pave the way for student-athlete success.”
– Lauren Procopio, Associate AD, Pottruck Center for Student-Athlete Success.
