Ohio Christian Athletic Department Announces Partnership with Teamworks

CIRCLEVILLE, OH [August 24, 2022] – The Ohio Christian University Athletic Department has announced their partnership with Teamworks, an industry leader in promoting efficient communications across collegiate and professional organizations. The platform will streamline communication throughout the department as well as with student-athletes.

George Arroyo Jr, Director of Athletics at Ohio Christian University, is looking forward to introducing a tool he’s trusted for years to the entire department.

“We are excited for the opportunities a partnership with Teamworks will provide,” Arroyo Jr. said. “I’ve had the pleasure of using this platform for five years and it’s hard to imagine a school year without it. College students are bombarded with information so naturally we are looking for ways to simplify everyday responsibilities and provide support for our athletes. Teamworks will change the dynamic of how we operate by providing effective communication and productivity in all areas of the student-athlete experience, including mental, health and wellness, academics, practices and games.”

Using Teamworks, coaches, student-athletes, athletic trainers and other staff members will be able to access essential information quickly, keeping the whole department on the same page when it comes to team operations, scheduling and more.

“The investment into Teamworks will enhance the athletics department by providing real-time information,” Arroyo Jr. said. “This gives us a competitive edge in the overall student-athlete experience. Player success and welfare are top priorities, so it makes sense to partner with the industry leader in athlete engagement.”

“Ohio Christian Athletics boasts a roster of over 15 sports teams, and through our expanded partnership, all student-athletes and staff across its entire athletic department will now benefit from streamlined communication and scheduling,” said Zach Maurides, Teamworks Founder and CEO. “The Trailblazers not only gain from Teamworks technology while on campus, but also will remain harmonious on the road through our Travel solution directly integrated within the app.”

Ohio Christian will join hundreds of collegiate athletic departments as well as professional sports organizations who are using Teamworks to better their teams.
