NFL Teams Rely on Teamworks

NFL Teams Rely on Teamworks for Setting Communication and Player Engagement Standards

The coronavirus pandemic set the stage for the 2020-21 NFL season to be unlike any other in the league's history. For many franchises, Teamworks served as the best-in-class technology solution for maintaining flexibility in scheduling and communication as teams experienced disruptions in training and competing due to positive COVID tests.

Initially partnering with Teamworks in 2019, the Buffalo Bills continually increased team engagement through this season's playoff run as they transferred new processes and workflows into the platform. Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott said Teamworks was critical in keeping players and staff in sync by putting information directly at the players’ fingertips.

HOW TEAMWORKS HELPED ALIGN SEAN MCDERMOTT'S BUFFALO BILLS:

Since the start of January 2021, Teamworks has extended relationships and newly partnered with seven of the league’s franchises, and the platform officially partners with 24 NFL teams. These teams leverage Teamworks to keep all the key stakeholders across their organizations connected and engaged with team operations and logistics. With the renewals and expansion to its list of partners, Teamworks deepens its commitment to providing exceptional value to NFL teams along with its growing list of professional sports clients throughout the globe.

“Coming from a college program that leveraged Teamworks, I’ve seen how valuable the platform is for establishing effective communication across all levels of an organization and giving coaches an easy, seamless way of engaging with each player,” said Jacksonville Jaguars Chief of Staff Fernando Lovo. “The ability to adjust schedules and have those changes reflected immediately on the players’ mobile app is critical to keeping our organization executing at the highest caliber. At this point, when we trade or draft new players or transition to new staff, a majority have used Teamworks at some point in their football career making it an obvious choice to extend our partnership.”

The list of Teamworks partners includes 2020-21 playoff teams the Green Bay Packers, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, the NFL Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and more.
