Influencer (INFLCR) has a new home and a new look.
The software company, now in its second year of operations, has relocated from the Innovation Depot in downtown Birmingham, Ala. to a stand-alone building at 2212 First Ave. South in Birmingham that better serves a growing roster of employees and clients.
Simultaneously, INFLCR launched its rebranded website and mobile site to better tell the stories of a client base that has swelled to serve more than 100 college and professional sports teams since launching just 17 months ago in September 2017.
“To me this is really INFLCR 2.0,” said company founder and CEO Jim Cavale. “It’s our second year of business and it’s our responsibility to evolve as a brand. This building and our new website are two ways that we’re trying to do that.”
The INFLCR content delivery software platform helps clients distribute their internally-curated content into personalized galleries on each of the mobile devices of their athletes, coaches and other brand ambassadors, for them to access and share via their personal social-media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Facebook. Clients can then use their INFLCR dashboard and usage reports to track their “audience lift” via the much-larger collective audience of those brand ambassadors.
“For the INFLCR brand to continue to develop is something I am very proud of,” Cavale said. “We help other brands tell their story through our SaaS content-delivery platform, so for our brand to continue to grow itself and go to the next level is integral to our success.
“This new building is a huge opportunity to have our own space, build the next level of our own culture based on the vision that INFLCR stands for; We Exist To Serve Storytellers. As we recruit new people and build our team, we want to preserve that vision and this building is going to allow us to do that.”
INFLCR’s office space occupies the second floor of an 8,000-square foot building owned by and shared with the construction firm Creature. INFLCR’s 4,000-square foot second floor provides work space for INFLCR’s leaderships, sales, client services and development team that now exceeds more than a dozen employees, with plenty of room to grow.
“I am very thankful to [Creature co-founder and CEO] Mike Gibson, who offered up this building with an opportunity to buildout something to suit the INFLCR vision and preserve our culture in our own space” Cavale said. “I also want to thank Devon Laney from Innovation Depot and all the people that make Innovation Depot what it is. It was a place where we could start INFLCR with just a few team members and grow to 13 day-to-day staff before “graduating” from our 800-square feet space to this awesome building we are now sharing with Creature Construction, with our own floor to grow into. There are so many people in Birmingham and in the entrepreneurial ecosystem that need to be thanked for this, but those are two in particular that I want to make sure I thank.”
INFLCR’s new website and mobile site showcases client successes to showcase how the software is impacting the brands it serves.
INFLCR’s website received a complete branding overhaul in consultation with Birmingham-based branding firm Devote Studio, “to help bring out the brand of our company in a way that people can know us fast when they visit our site,” Cavale said.
“With our website, our brand is going to continue to evolve from a look, a feel and the messaging and even what our product is and how we present it. The website has allowed us to do that in a way where you can really know what INFLCR is and why we exist a lot faster than ever before. I am excited about showcasing that and showcasing our clients and the impact we have had on them.”
