Jim Cavale’s Tip Of The Week: Partner With Your Team

Jim Cavale created Influencer (INFLCR) to help athletes grow their personal brands within the context of their team brand.

His belief that athletes should have access to the content they are featured in, so that they can share it to their social media accounts to tell their own stories, brought that idea into reality.

Now, when he speaks to teams and athletes, he talks about a partnership between the athletes who star on the field or court and the team that is creating all that content. There’s a win-win opportunity for all involved to reach a larger audience and tell their story together in the context of the team.

Cavale shared that vision with members of the UAB Football team, a conversation that could apply to any team, league and athlete.

“INFLC exists to help brands like UAB Football, and their brand ambassadors — like every single one of you — to get on the same page on social media,” Cavale told the Blazers. “It exists so that you can leverage the power of the UAB Football brand, and vice versa, as a team on social media.

Maybe you still have an NFL dream, but you will also have a personal brand that you can leverage whether you want to sell life insurance, you want to teach school — whatever it might be that you want to do, your brand matters. And it matters more than ever before.”


INFLCR is a SaaS platform for sports team properties to store, track and deliver their content across their influencer network of athletes, coaches, former athletes, media, etc. Each influencer can access their personalized gallery of content on their INFLCR mobile app, which they can use to download and share specific content to their social media platforms, with all influencer user activity tracked back to an INFLCR dashboard for the sports team properties.
