GW Athletics Announces Teamworks Partnership

George Washington Athletics is proud to announce a new partnership with Teamworks, an industry leader that provides a student-athlete engagement platform. Through Teamworks, GW will be able to easily flow communication throughout student-athletes, coaches and staff, facilitating an environment of openness and connectivity.

“To run a successful athletics department that prioritizes organizational health, it is incumbent on us to communicate clearly and efficiently,” said GW Director of Athletics Tanya Vogel. “Teamworks provides solutions that enhance our efforts to share information amongst our student-athletes, coaches, parents, alumni and staff.  This will allow us to optimize our support for our students in their pursuit of discipline and excellence in all that they do.”

GW’s 20 Division I programs join the ranks of more than 4,000 teams across the country who are leveraging Teamworks’ software to reach student-athletes where they are and how they prefer to be engaged, facilitating success in competition and in the classroom.

“We’re pleased to be able to deliver a solution that will enhance communication for coaches and senior leadership at GW, and increase the level of accountability for all student-athletes across the department,” said Teamworks Founder and CEO, Zach Maurides. “Providing a vehicle where student-athletes can receive timely and accurate information will empower them to better plan their priorities around their athletic and academic responsibilities.”
