INFLCR and Auburn University are extending their multi-sport partnership for an additional two years.
“The partnership with INFLCR allows us to deliver personalized content to our student athletes in real time so they can enhance their social media presence,” Auburn Director of Athletics Allen Greene said.
“It remains a top priority of our department to develop a holistic student-athlete experience, while assisting our student-athletes in building their personal brands.”
Auburn student-athletes coaches, staff and alumni in football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, gymnastics, baseball and softball will continue to receive content produced by Auburn Athletics and national-media sources and delivered by the INFLCR software and mobile app.
Auburn was one of the first Southeastern Conference programs to partner with INFLCR.
“From the beginning of this company, Auburn was one of the big believers in empowering its athletes to tell their story” INFLCR founder and CEO Jim Cavale said. “Auburn has been at the forefront of student-athlete brand development.
“Now that we are preparing to enter the era in which athletes can monetize their name, image & likeness, Auburn will position its student-athletes to maximize their opportunity in the spotlight of the SEC.”
How It Works
INFLCR’s platform helps clients like Auburn send internal media and national photography content to personalized galleries for each of their athletes, coaches and other brand ambassadors.
Those athletes and brand ambassadors are able to access their content galleries through the INFLCR mobile app, and can then share the content to their personal social media accounts.
After the fact, Auburn is able to measure the increased audience engagement coming from the much-larger collective audience of those athletes and brand ambassadors.
Auburn plans to use this approach to bolster their online presence in a way that impacts event attendance, recruiting, fundraising, and other strategic goals.
