America East Partners with Teamworks to Amplify Communication Between Conference and School Stakeholders
The conference will use Teamworks for coordinating information across its ten member institutions.
DURHAM, NC — (Monday, November 23, 2020) — Teamworks, the leading athlete engagement platform for collegiate and professional organizations, is pleased to announce a partnership with the America East Conference. Leadership at America East, which is affiliated with NCAA Division I athletics and represents institutions located in the Northeastern U.S., recognizes centralization in communication and logistics coordinating as critical in standard operating times and even more paramount as the conference continues to maneuver the shifting athletics landscape.
“Clear, organized and timely communication amongst our member institutions and the conference office will be critical in order to navigate the complexities the pandemic will bring to this season,” said America East Commissioner Amy Huchthausen.
“Teamworks allows us to distribute protocols, testing notifications, itineraries, visiting team guides and more all in one centralized location. Having all of our stakeholders on the Teamworks platform will provide a simplified and streamlined approach to information sharing that will benefit the entire conference.”
The America East joins more than 3,000 collegiate, professional and national teams and leagues that rely on Teamworks. The College Football Playoff as well as the Atlantic Coast Conference, Big Ten, and Mountain West, leverage the platform for streamlined member communication, operations and event management.
“During an uncertain time, having a reliable solution for making communication as seamless as possible is pivotal,” said Teamworks Founder and CEO Zach Maurides.
“We are proud to partner with America East and provide a platform that allows for the conference and member stakeholders to send and receive timely updates and share pertinent championship details in real time.”
